There is something suitable for everyone - whether you care for a relative or are a senior member of staff in a medical setting.

Please see our prospectus for full details.

Are the courses relevant to specific healthcare jobs?

Our courses are designed to meet the requirements of the current national and local healthcare agenda, including the NICE guidance for improving supportive and palliative care for adults with cancer and the NHS knowledge and skills framework.

These programmes are provided by Birmingham and the Black Country Palliative Care Education Consortium, incorporating: Compton Hospice, Wolverhampton; St Mary’s, Birmingham and St Giles, Lichfield.

How much is it to attend a course?

Our courses are free to staff working for all NHS organisations within Birmingham and the Black Country, with funding provided by the NHS West Midlands Workforce Institute.
