Fundraising Introduction

Funding the care with your help

The intrepid Inca trail hikers of 2007

Do you want to get more involved in helping the local community? If you have vowed to give something back, fundraisers at Compton Hospice have a host of events planned that you can join in, or can offer you support in putting your own ideas into practice.

It takes over £5 million for Compton Hospice to provide its invaluable services to people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across its catchment area. With government funding only providing one third of this, the hospice relies heavily on fundraising to maintain its level and quality of care.

And there are plenty of opportunities for businesses, as well as individuals, to support the people of the Black Country living with a life-limiting illness. Why not get your boss to contact us? Your company can adopt us as their charity of the year, become a valued partner, sponsor or can set up donations through payroll giving.

The fundraising team can offer more ideas, help with planning, sponsor forms, branded t-shirts, collection tins and moral support so you won’t feel like you’re going it alone.
