Will Week 2010

Monday November 01, 2010 to Sunday November 07, 2010

A selection of local solicitors are pledging a donation to Compton Hospice for each will written between 1st and 7th November, 2010.

Take advantage of a special offer price to get your affairs in order whilst helping to support the patients and families cared for by Compton Hospice.

Making a will is a simple yet important way to protect the future of your loved ones.  It's the only way to be certain that your money and personal belongings go to the people and causes you care about.

Many people wrongly assume that their house and possessions will automatically go to their spouse.  If your estate, including your home, is worth more than £250,000 this is not the case and, if you are not married, your partner may get nothing.  A will also includes provisions for the guardianship of children.

In the UK, 64% of parents and around a quarter of pensioners have yet to write a will.  Doing so brings security and peace of mind, not just to you, but to those you love.

Participating solicitors and a set, reduced fee for basic will writing will be confirmed shortly.
