Mt Kilimanjaro Challenge

Saturday July 30, 2011 to Tuesday August 09, 2011

Towering at 5895m above sea level, Mt Kilimanjaro is both the highest point in Africa and the world’s highest freestanding mountain. Its snow capped summit rises high above the dusty plains and huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit; these views are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.

Our trek takes the less-trodden Machame route, allowing us to camp and fully appreciate the splendour of our surroundings and the clear night skies. You will experience a virtual climatic world tour from the tropics to the arctic on your way to the highest point, Uhuru Peak.

By taking part in this challenge you will be climbing one of the most impressive and well known mountains in the world.

This extreme challenge is physically demanding and all paticipants must have a good standard of fitness.
