12 Drummers Drumming!

Students from Wombourne enthralled their local community by performing in an after Christmas spectacular in aid of Compton Hospice.
‘12 Drummers Drumming: A 12th Night Concert,’ was held at the Bede Hall on 6th January, and took four months to organise by Rachel Owens (19). Rachel who is currently studying at University, decided to organise the event as practice for her diploma in Musical Theatre.
James Owens, compere for the concert introduced dance routines performed by Sam and Natalie Fellows, Pop and Rock Songs sung by Sophie Caldwell accompanied by Andrew Gorton on his guitar, and a wide range of music from classical to jazz and musical theatre performed by Mio Jeavons, Emma Jones and Rachel herself.
The sell out show entertained over 100 people and raised over £500 for the hospice.
