A Starlight Success!

For two years running dance students from Wombourne have dedicated their spare time to raising funds for Compton Hospice. Members from the Starlight Dance School, who meet every Tuesday at The Venerable Bede Church Hall, have organised sponsored swims, balloon races and summer fetes. On top of this they have entertained over 300 members of the public in two performances held at a theatre in Tettenhall. Last year the school raised just over £1000, and this year they upped their total when Carol Steel and Louise Porter, organisers of the dance school, brought four of their dancers to the hospice and presented a cheque for £1300.
