Compton Plays Their Cards Right!

Compton Hospice was donated £221.50 raised from the proceeds of Dinner Discos held throughout December 2006 at the Oddfellows Pub in Compton.
One of the highlights of the evenings was a Play your Cards Right game, compeered by Bill Binks of Rainbow Entertainments who is the pubs resident DJ. Mark Foster sold raffle tickets, and the proceeds from the sale of party hats were also given to the Hospice.
“It’s always great to see our customers having a good time and they always give generously when we hold a charity event,” commented James Divall, Pub Landlord, “The Hospice are our neighbours and we have a great relationship with them, we will continue to support them any way we can.”
