Dare Devils hot step it for Compton!

Fifteen dare devils raised over £4000 for Compton Hospice by walking barefoot across broken glass and then 12ft of flaming embers burning at temperatures of over 1,200 degrees.

The fire and glass challenge held at Sedgley Working Men’s Club on Sunday October 22nd was a step up from last year’s event where the hospice put on the fire walking challenge for the first time.

It had proven so popular that the fundraisers from the hospice wanted to up the anti and make the challenge even more difficult.

Amongst the thrill seeking virgins were Sandra Haddock and Lee Beaumont who actually participated in last years event and are always ready to take on a new challenge, hmmmm maybe a bed of nails for them then next year!
