Happy Hippies and Head Shaves

The Happy Hippies

The Royal Oak Rejects Rally Club decided to spice up one of their Wednesday evening club meets by holding a happy hippy night in aid of Compton Hospice. Masses of bikers turned out for the event held on the 2nd August at The Royal Oak Public House, Wolverhampton.

Dave and Lin, the organisers of the event entertained guests from other bike clubs with a live music performed by Speed Triple, a BBQ, tombola and raffle, where punters had a chance of winning tickets to the famous ‘Bull Dog Bash’. The star of the show, a young man named ‘Squiz,’ kindly agreed to be sponsored to have his Mohican shaved off, but in true biker fashion his friends decided that this wasn’t enough and auctioned off his eyebrows.

The Rally Club had such a good evening that they decided to don their fancy dress and shake their buckets the following weekend at an away biker meeting.

Squiz gets a short back and sides

Compton Hospice would like to thank the rally club and Royal Oak Public House for their support and for raising over £1000.
