Holiday Inn Helps Out

Staff and customers of The Holiday Inn Telford had a bumper fundraising year this year after choosing Compton Hospice as one of their charities of the year.
The hotel based in St Quentin Gate held collections at their Christmas functions and staff raffles raising more than £1000 which was split between the hospice and Hillbrae Kennels.
Compton Hospice was chosen to receive the money after two of its staff took part in Compton’s Inca Trail Challenge back in June. Sales Director, Jo Callender and Head House Keeper, Gill Price donned their walking boots and completed the five day trek to Machu Picchu.

With the help of The Holiday Inn and its two sister hotels Grays and The International Hotel, also based in Telford, the duo raised over £5000. Gill Price then went on to complete the hospice’s Hadrians Wall hike in July, adding another £500 to Compton’s pot.
