The Claregate Gets Quizzed!

Managers of a Wolverhampton Pub have donated a cheque for nearly £1500 raised by testing the knowledge of their punters.
For the past three months The Claregate Pub, on Codsall Road, have been holding quiz nights every Tuesday in aid of the hospice, and have also donated money from the ticket sales of their New years Eve Bash, raising £1000.
Not happy with that total Sharon Montgomery and Matthew Bullock, Managers at The Claregate, applied to Marston’s Inns and Taverns Charitable Foundation for a further donation, and secured a further £500 for the hospice.
“Everybody knows somebody that has had treatment at the hospice so Compton was the obvious choice to fundraise for,” commented Sharon, “It is good to see our customers having fun and it is great to be raising money at the same time.”
