£50 Challenge Launched
- Members from the five participating companies receive their £50 from Karen Bowyer (bottom left), Corporate Fundraiser at Compton Hospice
Compton Hospice has just given away £50 to local businesses and has challenged them to invest it wisely and make as much money for the Hospice over a three month period.
Ruth Badger, from the BBC’s Apprentice, is backing the initiative and has agreed to visit with the winning company to collect their cheque and meet with the employees who raised the money.
The five companies taking part are NatWest, Manby & Steward Solicitors, Pertemps, fbc Solicitors and the IIE (part of Wolverhampton University).
Karen Bowyer, Corporate Fundraiser for Compton Hospice and the organiser of this initiative says: “This is a great way for companies to encourage team building and motivation among staff. We are delighted that such high profile companies have taken us up on the challenge”
