Double drive for Compton Hospice golf day
Golfers will be able to take part in a double fundraising drive this month in a 'Tee 4 Two' golfing day for Compton Hospice and the Beacon Centre for the Blind.
Organisers are calling on teams of four to tee-off for the two charities on Thursday June 9 at the Worfield golf course at Roughton near Bridgnorth.
The first four-ball is set to drive-off at 12pm, entry is £300 a team and the day includes coffee and bacon sandwiches on arrival with a two-course dinner at the end of the competition. Trophies will be awarded to the first three teams along with prizes for the longest drive, nearest the pin and a booby prize for the team that struggle the most.
Co-organiser Simon Cater, corporate fundraiser at Compton Hospice, said: “Our annual Tee 4 Two golf proves a double winner each year for everyone who takes part with the chance to enjoy a great day’s golf and raise money for two great Wolverhampton charities. There are just a couple of team places remaining so please do get in touch.”
