EBC Annual Golf Day
EBC Group (UK) Ltd held their 5th Annual Charity Golf Day on Friday 16th of June at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club raising over £4,000 for Compton Hospice & Beacon Centre for the Blind – proving to be the most successful year in the events history.
23 teams took part in this years event, which kicked off in traditional style with a tasty bacon sarnie - or 2 in some cases (you know who you are!!), plenty of encouraging team talk and the inevitable ‘boyish banter’. This was followed by a 9 hole Texas Scramble and the main 18 hole team Stableford Challenge, each made up with 23 teams of 4.
The events of the day were rounded off with a fantastic BBQ, courtesy of Cleobury’s finest chefs, incorporating fund raising raffles, Irish Bingo, and the all-important prize giving (winners are pictured) hosted by EBC’s Paul Jones.
Paul has been hosting the EBC Charity Golf Day for five years now and is overwhelmed by the generosity that is continually shown from all who support the event stating: “What a fantastic day! Year after year it just gets better and better and its all thanks to the people who get involved - we couldn't do it without them.”
