New law firm support for Compton

A firm of solicitors in Wolverhampton specialising in family and employment law has pledged to donate a percentage of its first year profits to Compton Hospice.

Partners Sanjay Nena and Jas Dhillon opened D&N Solicitors in King Street in the city centre in October. Both originate from the Black Country, and had been working for other firms in the region before setting up in business together.

Mr Dhillon is a member of the Law Society Childrens’ Panel, and Mr Nena is a member of the  Employment Lawyers Association.

“We are both local, and have grown up knowing about the work of Compton, so right from when we first started planning the business, it was always at the back of our minds that we wanted it to be a firm with a strong sense of social responsibility, and we want to play an active role in the community,” explained Mr Nena.

“The hospice does wonderful work, and we’d like our clients to know that a part of everything we do will benefit Compton,” he added.

Simon Cater, fundraiser for Compton Hospice, said without the support of local businesses like D&N Solicitors, the hospice wouldn’t be able to do the work it does, and thanked Mr Dhillon and Mr Nena for their generosity.

“We wish them every success with their new venture, and it’s great to know that we have such support from our local business community,” he said.
