80s extravaganza an extraordinary success!

The stars were out in force on Saturday night at our 80s extravaganza as Madonna, Adam Ant, Freddie Mercury and Jimmy Saville joined in the festivities!

Well, maybe not the stars themselves, but guests in fancy dress certainly brought the spirit of the 80s to life.

Colourful costumes included Boy George, the Ghostbusters, a few superheros and the Operation board game!

A powerful performance by (the real) 80s pop legend Jaki Graham added true star quality to the night, as she belted out past hits such as 'Step Right Up' and 'Could it Be I'm Falling in Love' before staying to mingle with guests.

Tribute band, 'Kick up the 80s', provided covers from Bon Jovi, Culture Club, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and more ensuring the dance floor was never empty.

Over 300 guests attended, and have helped us raise around £11,000 for the hospice with ticket sales, a silent auction and raffle on the night.

As well as the musical entertainment people could try their hand at the casino tables and 80s video games, or have their photo taken with the 'Back to the Future' DeLorean.

The night was hosted by Wolverhampton Racecourse, sponsored by I'm Your PA, and compered by 107.7 The Wolf's Dicky Dodd.

Our thanks go to all those involved in making the night such a huge success.
