Paycare Get Partying!

Patients of Compton Hospice were in for a real treat when performers Patricia Leonard, Michael Buchan and Colin Reeves visited their day unit.

The trio dazzled them with an array of songs varying from Old Time Music Hall to songs from the shows, at the charity concert which had been organised by the London based charity, Concerts in Hospitals.

The audience, consisting of patients and hospice staff, accompanied by Trustee, Mr Booth from The Paycare Charity Trust, sponsors of the show, joined in with singing and dancing to their musical favourites.

“We have been in the entertainment industry for many years now, and we feel that it is nice to give something back every once in a while” commented Michael Buchan, he added, “This is a great cause and we feel proud to be a part of it.”

The Paycare Charity Trust is based in Wolverhampton and operates nationwide, generally providing Grants to NHS hospitals and hospices for medical equipment and amenities to benefit patients. They aid other registered charities by offering services of a general medical nature and to those with special needs. The Trust also aims to assist with medical research. The money for such grants is generously provided by Paycare via the operating surplus from the Paycare Healthcare Cash Benefit Plans.
