Palliative care experience essential.
Must have 3 years post registration experience
preferably supported by relevant qualification.

SECONDMENT POSITION
Palliative Care Specialist Team
Senior Staff Nurse – Band 5
An opportunity has arisen for a secondment commencing 1 September 2010 and continuing until May 2011.
Full-time ie 37.5 hours.
The applicant must have the minimum of 3 years post registration experience with a minimum of 2 years palliative care experience
Experience of working in the Community setting would be advantageous
but not essential

HOSPICE @ HOME SERVICE
Health Care Assistants (Band 3)
30 hours per week (mainly nights/some days)
These posts are secondment posts on a fixed term contract ending March 2012.
Compton Hospice is further extending its excellent standards of care into patients` homes – would you like to be part of this development? The Hospice at Home Team is looking for highly motivated Health Care Assistants to join them.
You will:
• Need previous experience of working in a hospice, hospital or community setting.
• Have the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Be confident to work alone in patients` homes delivering an excellent standard of care.
• Be a car driver with a clean UK driving licence.
In addition:
HCAs will have an NVQ 2/3 or be willing to undertake an NVQ 3.
