Leaving a Legacy
A legacy is for the future - and for generations to come
Legacies of all sizes play an important role in our work. They help to secure the future of the hospice and indeed provide a third of all of our voluntary income.
They are a great way to give and tax efficient.
Maybe you would like to support the hospice but because of current circumstances are unable to right now? A gift in your will could be the answer.
Why make a Will?
Many people are shocked by what could happen to their money and possessions if they die without a will, or without updating it to reflect their wishes. The decision to make a will is one of the most important decisions you will make as it lets you choose who will inherit your assets.
How do I leave something to Compton Hospice?
Leaving a gift in your will to the hospice could not be simpler. If you have already made a will, your solicitor can simply add a codicil (a further note on it) specifying your wishes. If you choose to leave a bequest, please state Compton Hospice, Wolverhampton. Charity Registered No. 512387
If you would like to know more about leaving a legacy, would like to be put in contact with a reliable estates law solicitor, or notify us that you intend to leave us a legacy, please fill out the form here.
Alternatively, if you have already made a will but would like to leave a gift to the hospice, you can make an addition by completing the downloadable codicil form and taking it to your solicitor.
The generosity of those benefactors, leaving that ‘last gift’ is greatly appreciated by the hospice.
