Raising over £1 Million each year to invest in patient care
Our trading company runs 28 charity shops, including a coffee shop and furniture warehouse, in and around Wolverhampton, Sandwell, South staffs and East Shropshire. Compton Hospice Supporters Club Card
If you enjoy bagging a charity shop bargain why not purchase one of our Compton Hospice Supporters Club Cards. The card allows shoppers to save pounds on their purchases by offering 10% off items purchased in our stores. The card works in a similar way to other store discount cards so that each time a customer makes a purchase, the discount will be applied.
Cards can be purchased for £5 direct from one of Compton Hospice’s charity shops or by downloading, completing and returning a membership form. The Compton Hospice Supporters Club card is valid until December 31 2017 and members can expect to receive additional exclusive offers throughout the year.
You can also purchase books, CDs, DVDs and PC games online via Amazon, in association with KiteBooks. To take a look at our fantastic range of good condition secondhand items available click here
We welcome donations of quality second hand items to our stores and are able to accept a range of items including clothing, accessories, books, DVD’s, CD’s, bric-a-brac, toys and small working electrical items. We can also accept furniture at our Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Garrick Street, Kingswinford and Merry Hill stores, as well as our Cannock Superstore and Wolverhampton Furniture shop. We are able to arrange collection of larger items between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday. We can also gift aid any donation which allows us to generate an extra 25% revenue from HMRC at no extra cost to you.
Each shop is managed day-to-day by a paid shop manager, but relies heavily on the support of a team of volunteers. Our volunteers are the back bone of our shops, we simply would not be able to open our doors without their support.
There are plenty of opportunities for people wanting to get involved, from serving at the tills to sorting through donated items, pressing and hanging clothes and window-dressing. There are also opportunities for cooks and waiters to support our coffee shop.
To enquire about volunteering in one of our shops please visit our Volunteer Vacancies page to download an application form.
